With the exception of U.S. History and Government, all other Regents examinations will take place during this administration period. All morning examinations will begin at 8:15 AM. Afternoon examinations will begin at 12:15 PM. I have included the scheduled dates for these examinations for your planning purposes. Students may use the school’s transportation to get to school in the morning. The schedule is posted below. Included on the schedule is the mid-day bus schedule for students to return home as well as a late bus schedule to take students taking afternoon examinations home. Please note that there will not be a mid-day bus pickup for afternoon examinations.

June 21 to 22—Senior Overnight Trip
This year’s senior trip will be at Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Details about the trip along with permission slips have already been sent out in a previous letter to the students who signed up and have already paid.

June 23 –Graduation Rehearsal at The Egg in Albany
The rehearsal will take place at 9:00 AM. The bus will leave BKW Secondary at
8:00 AM. Due to parking restrictions, taking the bus is mandatory for all students. Caps and gowns will be distributed during rehearsal. Tickets for commencement will also be handed out at rehearsal. Each student is allowed eight (8) tickets. Students will need to either bring a lunch or bring money to purchase lunch. Students will board the bus to return to BKW between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

June 25—Commencement
Commencement exercise will be at the Egg in The Empire State Plaza at 10:30 AM. Students should arrive no later than 9:30 AM. Graduates should attend the ceremony wearing appropriate attire. Jeans, shorts, baseball caps, etc. are not appropriate for this ceremony. No inappropriate writings or symbols should be on the graduate’s attire.

Parking for the public is located under the Empire State Plaza. In the past, parking in the East Parking Lot was free but parking in the visitors’ parking lot was for a fee. All visitors and guests should have personal identification (photo ID) that may be requested for security purposes, as well as a ticket.

Respectfully,
