Butternut squash featured on Taste Test Thursday

BKW Elementary School students enjoyed March Taste Test Thursday today. This month’s Harvest of the Month was butternut squash. Nutrition Fact: Butternut squash contains beta-carotene, which is what gives squash its bright orange color. Students enjoyed NYS maple mashed butternut squash in the school cafeteria.
