Batty for books!

It was a science and reading lesson custom-made for Halloween month: BKW first graders recently spent some time learning about bats and other nocturnal animals during their library special with Katy Keyser, literacy specialist and English language arts teacher. “Wearing their bat crowns proudly, they are definitely “batty for books!” Keyser said.
