BKW recognizes World Autism Awareness Month

At BKW, we are committed to the success of every student and strive to support all learners on their individual educational journeys.

April marks World Autism Month, with April 2nd recognized globally as World Autism Awareness Day. In honor of this, we are sharing valuable resources to help keep our school community informed, engaged, and supportive of individuals with autism.

Together, we can foster an inclusive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.

We are committed to building a school community that supports and uplifts everyone.

“Our students continue to inspire us each day as we strive to design instructional opportunities that both meet their individual needs and challenge them to grow,” shared Karrie Diacetis, Director of Special Education.  “Through inclusive practices and personalized learning, we aim to ensure that every student feels valued, empowered, and capable of achieving their fullest potential.”
