BKW PTA brings the stars to elementary students

This week, the BKW PTA is delivering a planetarium courtesy of the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) for elementary students from April 7-9.

BKW fundraising efforts from this year enabled the portable planetarium to be onsite, allowing students to learn about the universe. The “spacey” opportunity also connects with the elementary building’s Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program. For the 2025 PARP program, the theme is “Reading is Out of This World!”

BKW fourth grade students received a first-hand experience learning about the universe on the elementary campus.
