The BKW High School Student Senate is sponsoring its third annual Anti-Bullying Week June 2-6 with a variety of school-wide activities.
The week will feature daily announcements for students containing anti-bullying messages. Teachers and staff are also encouraged to create bulletin boards with positive featuring positive messages throughout the week.
Each day, the Student Senate will call BKW students and staff to take a stand against bullying, and participate in the Theme of the Day:
Monday: "Make A Friend Monday" - Try to meet someone new and make a new friend.
Tuesday: "Two for Tuesday" - Try to do at least two acts of random kindness.
Wednesday: "Wear Blue Wednesday" … To support anti-bullying and anti-harassment.
Thursday: "Take It to the Community Thursday" - Encourages students and staff to share their anti-bullying messages with friends, family, and members of the community.
Friday: "Be Friend Friday" - Encourages students and staff to stand up for those being bullied, to take time to talk and associate with people they may not usually spend time with, and to let them know they have friends and allies that will stand up for them.

year round,” said BKW Student Senate Advisor Robert Bentley.
