Three BKW educators to present at national conference 

This November 22, BKW English Teacher and Department Head Audra Rys, District Library Media Specialist Beth Davis and Secondary School Special Education Teacher Jill Roemer will head to Boston, MA, to present at the National Council of Teachers of English's (NCTE) annual convention.

Rys, Davis and Roemer will lead a session called "Understanding Diversity through Many Genres (Looking at World War II from an Ethnic Perspective)" that shows educators how to use a cross-curricular approach to discuss the topic of diversity and discrimination through literature, history, art, and technology. They will also discuss ways to integrate Special Education modifications and lesson extensions into the curriculum.
