On Wednesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Secondary School Cafeteria, BKW held a forum where community members, parents, staff and students offered feeback to the Board of Education and administration on the district's budget and academic program.
The format of the evening consisted of a short presentation by Interim Superintendent Lonnie Palmer on what has been done with the budget thus far, options for the future and recommendations by the administration, feedback already heard from district constituents and future decisions to be made.
Following Palmer's presentation, attendees participated in an individual activity, group discussion and group activity designed to inform the Board of Education on the values and priorities of the district's constituents.
